What
is Weatherdek?
Weatherdek is a PVC (poly-vinyl chloride) sheet applied waterproofing
membrane (system), that is reinforced with a polyester woven backing
for strength in all directions. The vinyl comes in rolls varying
from 54” to 72” in width and in varying lengths.

walkways, stairs, hot tub and pool areas etc.
Is
There a Warranty?
All Weatherdek vinyls are covered by either a 5 or 10 Year Limited
Warranty, depending upon the specific product chosen.
How
is it Installed?
Weatherdek is fully adhered to most smooth substrates using either
a contact or a latex adhesive and is overlapped and heat welded
at all seams. The vinyl is then mechanically fastened at all perimeters
ensuring a total waterproofing system is achieved.
How
Long Will it Last?
A Weatherdek Vinyl Deck surface could last up to 15-25 years depending
upon the application, exposure and care of the deck.
How
Much Maintenance is There?
Except for an easy annual cleaning with soap and water Weatherdek
vinyls are virtually maintenance free.
Can
Weatherdek Withstand Harsh Climates?
Weatherdek vinyl has been installed in almost any climate Canada
has to offer, from Vancouver to Halifax and as far north as Yellowknife
our products have stood the test of many harsh climates.
Is
Weatherdek Safe?
All Weatherdek vinyls have a textured finish in order to provide
a sure footed walking surface even when wet.
